Annette loves working in her newest medium pyrography (usually wood burning) in addition to watercolour, oil, acrylic, ink, and charcoal. Subjects can be varied but often include wildlife, pets, florals, farm themes, and landscapes. Some images are available as reproductions and art cards. She also designs and hand knits lacy shawls and wraps as well as knitting practical warm felted wool items.
Originally from Saskatoon, Annette has been living in Prince Albert since 1990. Her family has strong ties to the Shell Lake area. Art education has been varied and usually workshop based with the exception of U of S drawing and painting with George Glenn. Annette is a member of the Kyla Art Group and Thickwood Hills Studio Trail.
